Terms of Service – Estaid (estaid.com)

1. Introduction

Estaid (estaid.com) is a SaaS platform for real estate investment analysis operated by ESTAID ApS, a company registered under Danish law ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
  • Use is prohibited where illegal.

3. Account Registration

  • Provide accurate, complete information.
  • You are solely responsible for all activity on your account.
  • Keep login details confidential. Notify us immediately at support@estaid.com of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Plans are monthly or annual with automatic renewal.
  • Payments are processed via a third-party provider. Fees are in EUR, including Danish VAT where applicable.
  • Consumer right of withdrawal: 14 days from subscription start (§ 17 Danish Consumer Contracts Act). Contact support@estaid.com to exercise.
  • No refunds after withdrawal period except as required by law.
  • Price changes: 30 days’ notice via email or in-app.

5. Licence

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

6. User Content

  • You retain ownership of data you upload (“User Content”).
  • You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to host, store, process, display, and back up User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
  • You warrant that User Content does not infringe third-party rights or violate any law.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
  • Overload servers or interfere with functionality
  • Scrape data without permission
  • Introduce viruses or malware
  • Impersonate others

8. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by ESTAID ApS or its licensors. No implied licences are granted.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with payment processors, Google Analytics, and others. Their terms and privacy policies apply.

10. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
  • We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.
  • Investment tools are informational only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

  • You may cancel anytime via account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach, non-payment, or at our reasonable discretion with notice.
  • Upon termination, we delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Danish law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
  • Exclusive jurisdiction: Copenhagen City Court (first instance).
  • EU consumers may also use the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/odr

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
